The Elizabeth North precinct sets the benchmark for holistic sustainability in Melbourne. The 18-storey tower, now home to CSL Limited’s Global Headquarters, achieved a 5-Star Green Star – Design & As Built v1.2 Design certification rating.
The project’s sustainability objectives, developed in partnership by PDG, CSL, together with Roberts Co and WSP, included: sustainable development outcomes meeting Australian best practice, energy efficient design and operation, and, an exemplar workplace that fosters collaboration and has enhanced indoor environmental quality.
Set in the historically-significant Queen Victoria Market precinct, QVM Munro has achieved a 5-Star Green Star Design & As Built v1.2 Rating. Stage 1 comprises the City of Melbourne’s largest new community hub (narrm ngarrgu), 500 carparks for market customers, and 49 affordable housing residences.
Stage 2 is home to 490 Build To Rent apartments for Mirvac, a 110-room hotel for Veriu, and fine grain retail across the ground level. The site boasts an 8.1-star average NatHERS Rating, electric vehicle infrastructure, highly efficient bathroom and kitchens, and end of trip facilities, to ensure residents can live comfortably without compromising their ecological footprint.
