PDG is proud to announce the Practical Completion of Stage 1 of our landmark Elizabeth North project. Serving as a gateway to Melbourne’s foremost education and biomedical precinct at the northern end of the CBD, the completed 30,000sqm mixed-use project is set to be home to a state-of-the-art vertical education campus for Melbourne University’s Trinity College alongside A-Grade commercial offices.
The complex construction included extensive restoration of the 3-storey heritage-listed art-deco façade that was retained and restored concurrently to constructing over 10,000sqm of A-Grade commercial office & educational campus above.
Within the podium and basement levels behind the magnificently restored façade is an expansive flagship Melbourne City Toyota dealership that is complemented by extensive retail offerings including Woolworths Metro, BWS & Lobby Café.
PDG acknowledges the dedication and resilience of our staff and industry-leading collaborators – including Probuild, Gray Puksand, WSP, Red Fire, Inhabit, Lovell Chen, Meinhardt Bonacci and Philip Chun – who delivered Stage 1 predominantly through COVID-19 related restrictions with minimal delays.
The success of this project is no doubt one to be celebrated collectively.
