PDG was delighted to join Investa, Oxford Properties and the City of Melbourne on Monday for the official opening of Indi Southbank at Boyd Village.

PDG Founder and Managing Director Vince Giuliano, Lord Mayor of Melbourne Nick Reece and Josh Burns MP, Special Envoy for Housing and Homelessness joined owner Oxford Properties and operator Investa, for an official ribbon cutting before celebrating the milestone with distinguished guests, government representatives, and project partners.

Indi Southbank stands as a 42-storey exemplar of build to rent living and will be home to over 800 residents across 434 apartments, including approximately 10% dedicated as affordable housing. Residents can enjoy first-class amenity across three levels including co-working spaces and media rooms, a fully equipped gym and sauna, and entertainment areas as well as a sky lounge with private dining rooms and terraces offering spectacular views of the city and Port Phillip Bay.

Residents also have exclusive access to an outdoor heated pool, outdoor dining and BBQ areas, yoga deck, and even a pet run and dog wash. Directly outside, residents have immediate access to green open space, Boyd Park and the historic Boyd Community Hub.

At the opening, Vince Giuliano reflected on the near-two-decade vision that the City of Melbourne had for Boyd Village and the honour of collaborating with the team to deliver such an outstanding development. Along with the PDG team he acknowledged builder Hamiton Marino, DKO Architecture and range of talented consultants for their unwavering commitment to creating one of the best examples of build to rent in Melbourne.
