Another quarter has come to a close and we’re excited to share some of PDG’s highlights and achievements over the past few months. We’ve seized new opportunities and made progress on several key projects.
Boyd Village
Construction in Progress
The team made substantial progress at Boyd Village on several fronts this quarter. Concrete structure is complete to Level 33, leaving 10 floors remaining to finish all structure works to the building. Major works have commenced to the Level 6 Amenities Floor, most notably with the works to facilitate the installation of the outdoor pool. Apartment fitouts continue to progress between levels 1-28, with the lower tower levels nearing completion.
In August, we achieved a major milestone by presenting the benchmark apartment to Investa and Oxford Properties. This marks the first completed build-to-rent apartment in their Australian portfolio – a significant accomplishment. Congratulations to the PDG team and our builder, Hamilton Marino, for their outstanding work in reaching this exciting milestone. We’re also excited to share with you an update on how Boyd Village will soon look thanks to these new renders.
QVM Munro
Exceptional Design All Round
Design and architecture of our Munro development has received a number of accolades over the past quarter. At the Australian Institute of Architects Awards (AIA), the project won the category for Public Architecture and received a Commendation for Urban Design. A big congratulations goes out to Six Degrees and Bates Smart on these achievements. The AIA jury praised the development: “The ensemble of elegant built forms and engaging streetscapes enhance the legibility and identity of the Victoria Market precinct. Noteworthy for its meticulous integration of artworks, preservation of heritage structures, and the delightful moments woven into its fabric, it stands as an exemplary energetic urban hub.”
Elizabeth North
Award Winning Development
Since its completion in 2023, CSL’s Global Headquarters and Centre for Research &Development has garnered significant acclaim. The 18-storey building was shortlisted for Workplace Design at the Australian Interior Design Awards (AIDA) and was a finalist in the Workplace Category at the WAF Inside International Awards. Most notably, it received a Commendation for Sustainability Advancement, making it one of only four projects nationally to be recognised in this special awards category. The wider Elizabeth North precinct sets the benchmark for holistic sustainability in Melbourne, with a 5-Star Green Star – Design & As Built v1.2 Design certification rating. Thank you to all our consultants, including our architects Cox and our builder Roberts Co on this terrific achievement.
