Towards Topping Out
Construction at Boyd Village in Southbank has made significant strides over the past year. In August, we proudly presented the benchmark apartment to Investa and Oxford Properties – marking the completion of the first build-to-rent apartment in their Australian portfolio. Congratulations to the PDG team and our builder, Hamilton Marino, for their outstanding work in reaching this exciting milestone.
We look forward to celebrating the topping out of the tower in early 2025. Once completed, Boyd Village will feature 434 build-to-rent apartments inclusive of 40 affordable rental dwellings for keyworkers, and will offer a new paradigm for city dwellers seeking high-quality, sustainable, and community-focused living arrangements.
A Year of Success
The Munro Development earned a series of accolades and awards across multiple categories this year. Recognised for its excellence in design, public architecture, and sustainability, the project has set a new benchmark in urban development. The site has earned a 5-Star Green Star Design & As Built v1.2 Rating, further reinforcing PDG’s commitment to environmentally responsible development.
Stage 2 is now fully leased, with the final tenant, Kombu Japanese Restaurant, joining the vibrant mix of existing retailers. This marks a significant milestone for the development, which continues to attract both residents and visitors alike, solidifying its place as a dynamic hub within the community.

In March, the townhouses at Gadsden successfully reached settlement, and the feedback from residents has been overwhelmingly positive. Many have praised the thoughtfully designed spaces and the exceptional lifestyle offerings that come with their new homes. Gadsden provides a range of amenities, including a private rooftop garden, lounge and dining areas, a fully equipped gym, and a ground-floor retail, including a Woolworths Metro—offering residents both comfort and convenience just steps from their door.
